King arrives in Japan

His Majesty King Abdullah arrived in Tokyo on Sunday on a several-day official visit during which the King is scheduled to meet with Japan's Emperor Akihito and high-ranking Japanese officials.

King Abdullah will hold talks with Japan's Prime Minister Taro Aso, which will focus on means to enhance cooperation and relations between the two countries in the economic and social fields in particular.

Talks will also address regional developments and Middle East peace efforts, besides other regional issues of common concern.

Moreover, King Abdullah will meet with several political figures, parliamentarians and economists during the visit.

The King is accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Feisal, Princess Raiyah, Prince Ghazi, the King's special adviser and personal envoy, Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi, the King's Adviser Ayman Safadi, Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Suhair Al-Ali.
