King arrives in Algeria on state visit

His Majesty King Abdullah arrived in Algiers on Saturday on a state visit at the invitation of Algeria President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
King Abdullah was received by the Algerian president at Houari Boumediene Airport, where His Majesty was accorded an official welcoming ceremony.
Receiving His Majesty at the airport were President of the Council of the Nation Salah Goudjil, President of the People’s National Assembly Brahim Boughali, Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army Gen. Saïd Chanegriha, Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra—the King’s escort of honour—and a number of ministers, in addition to members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps in Algeria, and Jordan’s Ambassador to Algeria Shaker Amoush, along with embassy staff.
The Jordanian delegation on the visit includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan, and Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply and Minister of Labour Yousef Shamali.
