King and Queen to Head for Switzerland on Friday

Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania start a working visit to Switzerland on Friday to take part in the annual conference of the World Economic Forum (WEF) usually held in the Swiss resort of Davos.
King Abdullah will deliver a speech before the conference, which brings together senior government officials including head of states along with world's business elite.
The King will also be meeting a number of participating head of states, Arab and foreign business leaders and executives of IT companies as well as media representatives.
Their Majesties will also attend a meeting on launching IT Emerging Markets Initiative, which aims to lay down a general frame for cooperation amongst countries that are similar in size, population and IT policies.
Queen Rania will take part in the meeting of WEF board of directors after she has been chosen member of this institution and will launch a panel discussion entitled " The Arab and Western Woman-Building Trust Together" where Her Majesty will deliver a key note address before the 300 participants on the necessity to bridge the gap between the haves and the have notes.
