Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah on Tuesday attended the celebration held by Prime Minster Faisal Al-Fayez to mark Independence Day.
Today Jordan marks the 58th anniversary of its independence.
The late King Abdullah I established the Kingdom in 1921. The country won its full independence in 1946 following the end of the British mandate.
