His Majesty King Abdullah II received a letter from Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, in which he highly appreciated the Jordanian stand on supporting Palestinian people, particularly with regard to the legal evidence submitted to the International Court of Justice on the separation wall being by Israel in the West Bank.



Expressing his deep thanks and gratitude to his Majesty King Abdullah for his stand in support of the Palestinian people, President Arafat said the Court's decision was a triumph for Justice, the international law and for the Palestinian people's just rights.



The World Court ruled on Friday that Israel's barrier in the West Bank was illegal and should be removed. Arafat appealed to the King to pursue his fruitful effort to drum up support to bring this case to the UN Security Council to take an immediate decision obligating Israel to remove the barrier.
