His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday expressed appreciation for former Prime Minister Faisal Fayez and his Cabinet members for their distinguished efforts and achievements.

During a meeting at the Royal court, King Abdullah said Fayez and former ministers “played a constructive role in enhancing Jordan's development march and shouldered great responsibilities under difficult times.”

For his part, Fayez expressed gratitude for the trust the King had in his team.

Fayez on Tuesday was named Royal Court Chief after King Abdullah asked a former minister, Adnan Badran, to form a new government.
