King Abdullah receives credentials

Newly-appointed ambassadors to Jordan on Wednesday presented their credentials to His Majesty King Abdullah at a ceremony held at Basman Palace.



Georgian Ambassador Ekathrina Mikadze, Belgian Ambassador Michel Godfrind, Chilean Ambassador Ovid Harasich, Nigerian Ambassador Admu Saidu Daura and Cuban Ambassador Claudio Ramos Borrego presented their credentials to the King at a ceremony held in the Royal Court.



The new ambassadors visited the tombs of His Majesty the late King Hussein, His Majesty the late King Abdullah I and His Majesty the late King Talal.



Royal Court Minister Samir Rifai and Foreign Minister Hani Mulki attended the ceremony.



Also on Wednesday, His Majesty the King accepted the oath of three new ambassadors: The Kingdom's ambassador to Greece, Mohammad Daoudiyeh; ambassador to South Africa, Mazin Tal, and ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hussein Majali.



Prime Minister Faisal Fayez, Rifai and Mulki attended the ceremony.
