His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday followed up the expansion works carried out in Queen Alia International Airport, which started a year ago in order to improve the services provided to passengers and make the airport meet international demands.

During a meeting with the Airport's Facilities and Infrastructure Committee, His Majesty urged for speeding up improvment process of the services through providing up to date technologies and increasing the number of qualified and trained staff.

The airport is the cultural view which gives visitors the first impression regarding the country, so humanitarian skills there should be developed to ensure providing essential services to passengers, His Majesty said.
