His Majesty King Abdullah II Wednesday affirmed that he takes every possible step to encourage foreign investors invest in Jordan and taking it a regional center for them.

Upon opening the new building of Investment Promotion Board, His Majesty held a via satellite meeting with Chairman of Board Council of Haier Group Jang Remin, where he expressed thanks on this project. His Majesty expressed his hope that this project would form a new success story for Chinese investment in Jordan. The King expressed hope that the $100 m. value project will further enhance economic relations between Jordan and China.

Remin reaffirmed his group's commitment to development in Jordan , which he described as every developing.

His Majesty's visit to China had greatly impressed investors in his country, Remin said. He expressed belief that more of these investors will come to Jordan, ''the friendly and reliable country''.

The project is expected to be finalized at the end of this year, where electrics and electronics will be produced for export to the Middle East region.

The session, chaired by His Majesty King Abdullah II, focused on adding new sectors to these benefiting from investment promotion law.
