King Abdullah II receives Pakistani official

His Majesty King Abdullah II Tuesday received former Pakistani President of Senate Wasim Sajjad, who conveyed to His Majesty a message from Pakistani President Pervez Musharaf on the Pakistani position concerning conflict with India.

During the meeting, Sajjad reviewed the Pakistani view point and Islamabad's stand pertaining the set forward initiatives and solutions to stop security deterioration on the two countries borders.

His Majesty affirmed the importance of the two countries listening to the voice of peace and making their people avoid a war that would threaten stability of the Indian subcontinent and world peace. He pointed out that Jordan supports all proposals aiming at easing tension and solving the two countries disputes by peaceful means.
