King Abdullah II receives Hariri

His Majesty King Abdullah II and the visiting Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri discussed mechanisms of activating bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in addition to the latest developments on the Arab and regional arenas.

The talks focussed also on the preparations taking place to hold the Arab summit in Beirut next march . Hariri briefed His Majesty on the preparations Lebanon carries out to hold the summit and make it a success.

His Majesty affirmed the necessity to act within a joint Arab effort to make the summit a success and reach decisions that would further enhance Arab solidarity and contribute to unification of Arab stands.

The talks touched on means to support and develop bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields , particularly, economic.

His Majesty and Prime Minister Hariri discussed also the situation in the Palestinian territories under the light of escalation of Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people.

King Abdullah and Hariri called on the international community to shoulder responsibility to end the aggressions and pave the way for return to dialogue and solving issues by peaceful means.
