His Majesty King Abdullah II Sunday received Head of North Africa and the Middle East Department of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Zvier Eves Obin, who conveyed to His Majesty a letter from French President Jack Chirac on the French and European efforts exerted to move the peace process in the region.

In his letter to the King President Chirac affirmed the importance of His Majesty؟s efforts to help get out of the circle of violence in the Palestinian territories and return to the negotiating table. He pointed out that France will work side by side with the European countries to support all moves intending to bring the peace process back to its right track.
