His Majesty King Abdullah II left Sunday for Saudi Arabia in a short visit , where he will discuss with Deputy of Custodian of the Holy Mosques Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz the situation in the Palestinian territories and the efforts exerted to lift the Palestinian people's suffering and paving the way for resumption of Palestinian Israeli negotiations.

During their meeting today in Jeddah, His Majesty is going to brief Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz on the outcome of his talks with American President George Bush, carried out during his recent visit to the US.
