His Majesty King Abdullah II started on Wednesday a several day tour to East Europe. the King's tour started with a two- day visit to Poland followed by a visit to the Russian Federation.
The tour is considered the second for His Majesty the King in Eastern Europe countries. King Abdullah had earlier visited Romania, Croatia, and Czech with a view to promote trade cooperation and attract investments into Jordan.
Upon arrival, King Abdullah was received officially at the headquarters of the Polish Presidency.
During the visit, His Majesty will meet with Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewsk and Prime Minister Marek Belka. The King will also attend part of an investment meeting with Polish economic figures as well as the signing of a number of agreements between the two countries in the tourism, scientific, educational and cultural fields.
His Majesty is accompanied by an official delegation that includes Minister of the Hashemite Royal Court Sameer Rifai, His Majesty's Advisor Akil Beltaji, Foreign Minister, Dr. Marwan Muasher, Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Bassim Awadallah and Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr. Alia Bouran.
