His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday arrived in Ramallah on a short visit for talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

The talks will focus on efforts to revive the Middle East peace process with the aim of arriving at the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

The visit, which came after Palestinians gained upgraded UN status, is part of continuous coordination between Jordan and the Palestinian Authority.
