Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania on Monday received at Bait Al-Barakah Palace, Saudi Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, President of the Open Arab University Board of Trustees Head of the Arab Gulf Program in Support of the UN Organizations for development (AGFND).



During the meeting which was attended by His Highness Prince Turki Bin Talal and the Ministers of Higher Education, Planning and Senator Rajae Al-Muasher discussed cooperation between Jordan and the AGFND particularly the fund's contribution to establishing a National Bank for financing small projects-( Bank of the Poor). A royal decree was issued earlier ordering the establishment of the bank. King Abdullah expressed thanks to Prince Talal for the steps taken by the program to support the projected bank.



Prince Talal briefed King Abdullah on the meetings of the Open Arab University started in Amman Monday co-chaired by Queen Rania and Prince Talal.
