His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday discussed with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas latest developments in the region.
During the meeting, which is part of the two leaders' continued coordination on regional issues, King Abdullah and Abbas looked into ways to push peace efforts forward in the Arab and international arenas.
They discussed efforts to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of the two-state solution, within a regional context, which brings about comprehensive peace.
Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi, Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat and Palestinian Ambassador to Jordan Ata Khairi were present at the meeting.
