His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday said Jordan is ready to extend a helping hand to the Republic of Chechnya to develop its key sectors, especially education and health.

The King's remarks were made at a meeting with visiting President of the Republic of Chechnya of the Russian Federation Ramzan Kadyrov. The two leaders discussed various aspects of bilateral ties and means to bolster them.

Earlier in the day, the Chechen president said that his talks with the King would cover cooperation in the political, economic and cultural fields and means to cement bilateral relations.
