His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday said Jordan will send its ambassador to Iraq despite the recent assassination of the Egyptian ambassador there at the hands of a terrorist group.



His Majesty told CNN in a TV interview that the government is coordinating with the Iraqi authorities to re-send the Jordanian envoy in the near future, saying "we are not going to allow these limited extremists that are trying to destabilize the future of Iraq to have any effect".



On last week's London attacks, the King said what makes it so painful is when terrorists claim that their crimes are committed in the name of Islam.



His Majesty expressed his relief at the stand taken by Arab and Muslim communities in the UK and the US in condemnation of the attacks that targeted innocent civilians in London.



Asked if the continuation of the Arab-Israeli conflict is a destabilizing factor in the region, the King said that there is frustration throughout the Middle East due to the perceived injustice with regard to the way the conflict is addressed.



He said this is the primary excuse extremists use to raise the level of tension inside frustrated communities.



If the issues of Palestine and Iraq are addressed, he said, "it does allow us to bring the level of tension down and corner the extremists".
