His Majesty King Abdullah and Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora on Sunday held talks on bilateral ties and regional developments.

At a meeting with Siniora, King Abdullah urged continued efforts to address the current political crisis in Lebanon and preserve the country's security, stability and unity, warning that the repercussion of the crisis could spill to the region.

The Lebanese premier arrived in Amman for a several-hour visit as part of a regional tour.

He briefed King Abdullah on the results of his meetings in the Arab countries and outlined the Lebanese government's evaluation of the coming stage and options available for realising national accord.
