His Majesty King Abdullah and Sultan Qaboos of Oman on Saturday discussed regional developments as well as means to enhance bilateral relations.
The King's talks with Sultan Qaboos, who arrived Aqaba Saturday on a several-day private visit, centred on ways to boost cooperation in all spheres.
Commending the level of bilateral ties, the two leaders expressed their commitment to further develop these relations.
They also discussed prospects for developing joint Arab action to foster cooperation among the Arab countries and stand up to the various challenges facing the Arab world.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the latest developments, especially the situation in the Palestinian territories, Iraq and Lebanon.
Sultan Qaboos is accompanied by several Omani ministers and officials.
