His Majesty King Abdullah received cables of congratulations from world leaders on the occasion of Jordan's 67th Independence Day, which falls on Saturday.

The cables wished King Abdullah continued good health and happiness and the people of Jordan further progress and prosperity.

His Majesty also received similar cables from the Prime Minister, Senate President, Speaker of the Lower House of the Parliament, President of the Judicial Council, Chief Justice, the Grand Mufti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, directors of General Intelligence, Public Security, and Civil Defense departments, acting director of the Gendarmerie department and director of the Economic and Social Association of retired Servicemen and Veterans.
