Jordan condemns terror attacks in Kenya

His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday denounced the “cowardly” terrorist attack at the Garissa University College, which led to the death of around 148 people and the injury of dozens of students and other innocent people.

In a telephone call with President Uhuru Kenyatta, King Abdullah expressed condolences and sympathies to the Kenyan president and the families of the victims, noting that Jordan stands by Kenya and its people in confronting such heinous terrorist crimes, which threaten the security of the region and the entire world.

The two leaders discussed the current developments at the regional and international levels, especially the efforts exerted to confront the danger of terrorism.
