His Majesty King Abdullah II Monday received members of Investment Committee of the Consultative Economic Council, who briefed him on the Irish experience pertaining institutionalization and promotion of home and external investment in Ireland.

During the meeting attended by the Prime Minister and Chief of the Royal Court, His Majesty stressed the importance of cooperation between the government and the private sector in implementing the social and economic program in which investment is a major pillar. The King pointed out to the potentials of benefiting from the Irish experience and the possibility of applying it in Jordan as the two countries enjoy similar characteristics.
