His Majesty King Abdullah II Thursday received member of the Executive Council of the World Economic Forum Nimir Kaider and Deputy Chairman Fredrik Sekri who extended an invitation to His Majesty for participation in the Forum`s meeting at the beginning of next year in New York.

Deliberations of the Forum are expected to focuss on finding Means to get out of the recession the world economy is suffering from.

During the meeting with His Majesty , Kaider pointed out that in addition to the issues of investment and economic growth, the Forum`s agenda will include also dialogue between civilizations and interaction between East and West.

He stressed the importance of cooperation between Jordan and the Forum . Kaider pointed out to Jordan`s positive participation in the Forum several years ago.

The Forum`s researches published two weeks ago showed that Jordan has achieved tangible economic progress compared with last year.
