His Majesty King Abdullah II receives Arab League General Secretary

His Majesty King Abdullah II Monday discussed with Arab League General Secretary Amr Mousa the preparations taking place for holding the coming Arab summit in Beirut March 2002.
His Majesty, the Head of the Arab summit, stressed the importance of holding the coming summit in its fixed date and place in the Lebanese capital according to Amman`s summit held earlier in march 2001.
The king pointed out that Jordan will work with Arab brethren to carry out utmost efforts to make the summit a success and come out with decisions that further enhance Arab solidarity and unify Arab stands pertaining the various issues of common concern for the Arab nation.
Mousa, who toured several Arab countries, briefed His Majesty on the Arab league`s preparations to hold the summit in its fixed time and on his talks with Arab leaders which aimed at making the summit a success.
Within the framework of preparations for holding the Arab Woman Summit in Amman next Autumn, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah received Amr Mousa , where discussions focused on the measures taken by Jordan and the Arab league to hold this summit whose deliberations focus on Arab women issues.
