His Majesty King Abdullah II Condoles Algerian President

His Majesty King Abdullah II sent a cable to Algerian President Abdul Aziz Bouteflika expressing his deep condolences over the victims of devastating rainstorm. A 24-four deluge pounded northern areas in Algeria killing about 287 people and injuring hundreds more. Morgues were set up in the Algerian capital on Sunday as rescuers and volunteers began pulling bodies from buildings that had collapsed. Violent winds and torrential rains began lashing the capital of Algiers on Friday, causing water to rush through its streets and mud to cascade down the city`s hilly terrain. Prime Minister Ali Abul Ragheb also sent a cable of condolences to his Algerian counterpart Ali Bin Fleis and expressed Jordan`s stand in support of the Algerian people who were always able to surmount ordeals and calamities.
