His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), and Her Majesty Queen Rania on Wednesday attended the Jordan Armed Forces' Beating the Retreat ceremony commemorating Independence Day, Army Day and the Great Arab Revolt.

Several Royal family members attended the ceremony, along with Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Samir Rifai, and a number of senior officers, officials and diplomats.
