Upon His Majesty King Abdullah's directives, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) will today dispatch a 15-truck convoy loaded with foodstuff and medical supplies to the West Bank and Gaza Strip. JHCO Secretary General Mohammad Aitan said the aid is part of Jordan's assistance to the Palestinian people.

The convoy, which will cross King Hussein Bridge today, is loaded with 200 tonnes of drugs, medical supplies and foodstuff, he said, noting that seven of the trucks will head to the Gaza Strip.
