King attends joint drill with German forces

His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), attended a joint military drill implemented on Monday by JAF and German armed forces.

King Abdullah was accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Princes Feisal bin Al Hussein and Hashim bin Al Hussein and was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat.

The joint training included raid operations, hostage rescue and anti-terrorism operations.

The drill aims at boosting military cooperation between the armed forces of both countries.

His Majesty commended the level of planning and coordination among participating units in the drill.
