Under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Cabinet decided during its meeting on Wednesday that was chaired by Acting Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Mohammad Thneibat, to disburse JD20 to students of public schools as well as military education schools.

The Ministry of Education will take measures to disburse the amount to all students through one of the banks that will be announced once the lists of students are completed.

The distribution process will continue throughout the scholastic year until each student gets this amount.

The Cabinet also decided under the royal directives, to exempt all public school students from due tuition fees until the beginning of the new scholastic year.

The decisions comes to help students' families to meet basic requirements until the beginning of the new scholastic year that coincides with Eid Al Adha.
