His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday sent a cable to Italian President Sergio Mattarella condoling him over the victims of the earthquake that struck central Italy.

In the cable, King Abdullah expressed his deepest sympathies to President Mattarella and the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The King also stressed Jordan's support to Italy in these difficult circumstances.
