His Majesty King Abdullah, Friday, expressed pride and happiness over the first ever Jordan Olympics Gold Medal, which Jordanian Taekwondo fighter Ahmad Abu Ghaush won yesterday.

During a telephone conversation with the gold medalist, King Abdullah congratulated Abu Ghaush for raising the Jordanian flag in the Olympic Games, currently underway in Brazil.

Abu Ghaush won Jordan’s first-ever Olympic Gold medal. The 20-year-old student defeated Russia's Alexey Denisenko in a 68-kilogram division gold medal match 10-6.
