His Majesty King Abdullah, on Wednesday, bestowed top honors (Al Kawkab Order of First Class) on Speaker of the Lower House Parliament, Atef Tarawneh, in recognition of his outstanding performance in public service.

His Majesty also conferred the Independence Order of First Class on Chairman of the MBC Group, Sheikh Walid Al Ibrahim, in recognition of his efforts in developing the media domain in the Arab World.
