King meets Prince Charles, highlights burdens of Syrian refugees on Jordan

His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday met with Prince Charles of Wales and reviewed Jordan efforts to grapple with the fallout of the Syrian crisis.

King Abdullah also spoke about the humanitarian services being provided by Jordan to the Syrian refugees on its territories.

His Majesty also thanked Britain for its support to the Kingdom, through projects carried out by the Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation.

The meeting also tackled the latest developments in the region, mainly the Syrian crisis and efforts to fight terrorism and extremism, which threat the global peace and security.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles praised the efforts being exerted by Jordan to address the regional challenges, at the foremost of which is the Syrian crisis.
