King attends army drill

His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), attended a military drill executed by a JAF unit on Monday.

At the beginning of the drill, King Abdullah was briefed on its activities, which included fighting operations in urban zones, using live ammunition and different kinds of weapons.

The King praised the advanced level of the unit, especially its personnel’s accuracy in hitting targets and their skills in implementing the drill.

His Majesty’s Military Adviser and Chairman of the Joint Chief-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben and senior JAF officers also attended the exercise.
