Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania on Monday paid a visit to the Jordan Centre for Training and Inclusion (JCTI) and checked on the educational and rehabilitation services delivered to around 220 children with disabilities.

Their Majesties also toured an exhibition showcasing the centre’s products of artificial limbs and medical devices that help the disabled battle the challenges they face.

King Abdullah directed the Royal Hashemite Court to provide the centre with all its equipment needs, medical devices and furniture, in addition to establishing a mobile clinic to reach out to the disabled at their homes.

The King also instructed concerned agencies to provide the JCTI with raw materials to manufacture prosthetics and establish a specialised workshop for that purpose in coordination with the Royal Medical Services.

Their Majesties were accompanied by His Royal Highness Princess Majda Raad, Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, His Majesty’s Office Director Jafar Hassan, Social Development Minister Reem Abu Hassan and other senior officials.
