His Majesty King Abdullah Wednesday received Iraqi Transport Minister Baqir Zubeidi and discussed ways to boost bilateral ties, and building on them at all levels, especially in the transport and railway sectors.

King Abdullah expressed Jordan’s keenness to further develop relations with Iraq and support it to achieve national unity, and enhance its security and stability.

For his part, Zubeidi stressed his country’s keenness to develop bilateral ties with the Kingdom in different fields, and appreciated the Jordanian stance in supporting Iraqis under all circumstances.

Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, King’s Office Director Jaafar Hassan and Iraqi Ambassador to Jordan Jawad Hadi Abbas also attended the meeting.
