Jordan receives Lebanese Interior Minister

His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received Lebanese Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk, who conveyed his government’s condolences over the death of Jordanian pilot Muath Kasasbeh.

During a meeting at Al Husseiniya Palace, Machnouk expressed Lebanon’s solidarity with Jordan and its support for the Kingdom.

King Abdullah and the Lebanese minister also discussed the latest developments in the region and means to strengthen bilateral ties in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries and their people.

Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, His Majesty’s Office Director Jafar Hassan, Interior Minister Hussein Majali and the delegation accompanying the Lebanese official attended the meeting.
