His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein, performed noon prayers on the last Friday of Ramadan at the Great Ajloun Mosque.

King Abdullah listened to the Friday sermon delivered by Chief Islamic Justice Ahmad Hilayel, in which he highlighted the meanings of tranquility and peace in Islam.

The mosque, which recently underwent restoration work, was built in 1247, dating back to the era of Ayyubid Sultan Najmuddin Ayyub.
