His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday met with outgoing UNRWA commissioner general Filippo Grandi.

King Abdullah commended the “huge” efforts Grandi exerted during his tenure and the “distinguished” contributions he made to the agency.

His Majesty stressed the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting endeavours aimed at improving the situation of UNRWA to enable it to continue its role in serving Palestinian refugees.

Grandi commended the Kingdom’s services to Palestinian refugees.
