His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday visited the Jordan Press Foundation (JPF) and stressed that journalists should be committed to high professional standards in their work.



His Majesty the King said local media outlets play a key role in reflecting Jordan's achievements, stressing the important role they play in clarifying facts for citizens.



During the visit, the King met with Editor-in-Chief of Al Rai Abdul Wahab Zgheilat, who briefed His Majesty the King no the newspaper's future plans, Chairman of JPF's Board of Directors Khalid Wazani, JPF Director General Nader Horani and JPF Deputy Director Omran Khair.



JPF publishes Al Rai, The Jordan Times and Hatem magazine.
