His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday met with Iraqi Interior Minister Bayan Solagh and discussed means to bolster bilateral ties.



During the meeting, His Majesty the King reiterated Jordan's keenness to preserve the unity of Iraq and its people.



He also expressed the Kingdom's support for all efforts aiming at enhancing security and stability in Iraq.



The Iraqi official briefed the King on his meetings with Jordanian officials, stressing the importance of the Jordanian support for the Iraqi people.



He also referred to the memorandum of understanding signed between Amman and Baghdad few days ago to enhance security cooperation between both countries.
