His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday stressed that the Israeli pullout from Gaza should be a prelude to a withdrawal from the West Bank.



During a phone call with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, King Abdullah reiterated Jordan's support for the Palestinian Authority, urging unity among factions to realize Palestinian aspirations.



Abbas voiced appreciation for His Majesty's efforts to help Palestinians gain their rights.
