Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania on Sunday instructed concerned medical authorities to give due attention to a woman and her quintuplets, who were in Amman in transit from the United Arab Emirates to the Palestinian territories.

Born in Abu Dhabi by Caesarean section to Wisam Kheiri and Abdul Fatttah Hussein Abdul Fattah, the three boys and two girls weighed between 1.100 and 1.600 kilogrammes.

Responding to the Royal directives, a team of doctors and nurses were at Queen Alia International Airport to receive the newborns and their parents, who were then transported to the West Bank in a special ambulance. Overwhelmed by the hospitality, the parents voiced deep appreciation and gratitude to King Abdullah and Queen Rania.
