His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, visited on Thursday the Armed Forces Headquarters, where he met with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Khaled Jamil Sarayreh, and discussed with him issues concerning the Armed forces.



On the other hand, The King also met with member of the US Congress, Tom Lantos, within his regional tour that took him to Libya, Egypt, and Syria.



During the meeting, which was attended by Foreign Minister, Marwan Muasher, The King and the US official discussed developments in Palestine and Iraq, pointing to the importance of exerting efforts to achieve peace and stability.
