King Affirms His Support To the Judiciary

His Majesty King Abdullah II, affirmed his support to the Jordanian Judiciary, and his determination to develop it and improve conditions of judges, with a view to serve the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom.



During a meeting at Bait Al Baraka on Thursday with President of the Judicial Council, Mohammad Samed Al Raqqad, who presented to His Majesty the annual report on conditions of courts and their activities last year, His Majesty expressed his interest to develop the judiciary and facilitate procedures related to its work.



King Abdullah II also stressed the importance of training and qualifying judges, affirming that he will attach special interest to this issue, and ensure its implementation in the coming stage.



President of the Judicial Council on his part, affirmed that the judiciaryis serious, through its cooperation with the legislative and the executive authorities, to develop and modernize the judiciary with a view to make it as his Majesty wanted.



The report touched on the judicial cadre, legal legislations and issues, premises and infrastructure, computerization, training and activities, internal and external activities of judges, scholarships and the strategic vision for development and modernization.
