King Receives an Invitation to Participate in the Arab Summit

His Majesty King Abdullah II, received an invitation from Tunisian President Zein Alabdin Bin Ali, to take part in the 16th Arab Summit which will be held in Tunisia on March 29.



The invitation was delivered to King Abdullah, during a meeting with envoy of the Tunisian president, and State Minister for Social Affairs and Solidarity, Al Shathili Al Nifati.



His Majesty expressed appreciation for the Tunisian leadership and people for hosting the Arab Summit.



The King also stressed the importance of exerting efforts to ensure the success of the Summit, and come up with resolutions that fulfill aspirations of the Arab to achieve progress and solidarity, and enhance the march of joint Arab action.



The meeting was attended by Minister of the Hashemite Royal Court, Sameer Rifai, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Acting Foreign Minister, Dr. Basim Awadallah and the Tunisian ambassador to Jordan Abdul Raouf Al Basiti.
