King Returns From New York on a Regular RJ Flight

His Majesty King Abdullah II honored the Royal Jordanian Airlines on the its 40th anniversary, when he returned home from a working visit to the United States aboard an RJ plane.



The King, who usually uses his private Jet, "Saqr Qureish" in his external flights, wanted to commend the role of the Royal Jordanian as a national carrier and an ambassador of Jordan to the world.



His Majesty checked on conditions of the passengers who were surprised and happy to accompany the King aboard the Airbus-340 plane which joined the RJ fleet in the summer of last year.



The RJ steadily developed since it started its flights in 1963.



It carries 1,300,000 passengers annually to various parts of the world.
