His Majesty King Abdullah met on Wednesday with the US vice president Dick Cheney at the White House
in preparation for the summit meeting which will be held today between His Majesty and US president George Bush.



During the meeting which was attended by the King's advisor for security affairs and planning minister, the US aid for Jordan for the year 2004 were discussed as well as the latest developments on the Palestinian and Iraqi arenas.



His Majesty reiterated Jordan's stand calling for the importance of supporting the roadmap as a practical and realistic base to solve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. King Abdullah also discussed the future of the situation in Iraq.
